Notice is hereby given that the Corporation of the District of North Vancouver (the "District"), on behalf of the District of North Vancouver Fire & Rescue Service (the "DNVFRS"), intends to directly award a contract to ZOLL Medical Canada, 3580 Laird Road, Unit1, Mississauga, Ontario, L5L 5Z3 for the purchase of six (6) AutoPulse NXT Platform CPR (automatic chest compression) devices, including a four-year preventative maintenance program and the trade-in of DNVRFS existing Lucas Chest Compression System devices, at a value of $182,283.12 (excluding applicable taxes). Background information and specific reasons for this direct award purchase are detailed in the Notice of Intent document attached to this notice. Suppliers wanting to challenge this decision to Direct Award should submit a detailed written objection through the District’s Bidding System (https://dnv.bidsandtenders.ca/) prior to the Challenge Deadline.
