The District of North Vancouver is requesting proposals from qualified proponents to help co-create a data strategy that will transform our approach to data – how we collect, combine, store, share, use, manage, protect, and report on it – in order to support our overall digital transformation objectives.

Using a highly collaborative approach, and involving multiple District stakeholders, the successful Proponent will conduct a current state assessment of our approach to data, help define and articulate key goals and objectives, identify the gaps between our current and desired future states, and then work with us to develop a robust, step-by-step data strategy with clearly defined ‘quick win’ and longer-term actions to close those gaps.

We will use the strategy to begin leveraging data as a strategic asset, which will help us enable better decision-making and program design, and deliver more effective services.

Proponents who have recent, relevant experience working with public sector organizations on similar data transformation projects, have a clearly defined process and demonstrated track record of success, and who can show a commitment to creative and collaborative problem-solving, are invited to submit a Proposal
