Description:

The District of North Vancouver (the “District”) is seeking responses from vendors (“Proponents”) who offer software solutions to support and manage asset maintenance and work for our Engineering Operations (Water, Sewage, Drainage, Streets) and Parks departments. The District’s goal is to implement an enterprise solution to plan, schedule, assign, document and track our daily work.   The District intends to acquire a cloud-hosted SaaS solution that will achieve this goal.

When responding to this RFP, the Proponent should consider how their technology solution(s) can help support the following requirements:

  • Integrate with an on premise Esri ArcGIS Enterprise system to select typical municipal infrastructure assets for scheduling and documenting the performance of operations and maintenance work;
  • Assign human and other resources (parts, vehicles, equipment) to work groups that can then be attached to scheduled work assignments;
  • Schedule and track the operation and maintenance of linear and point assets based on various recurring schedules and location;
  • Track ad hoc work done by Engineering Operations and Parks crews;
  • Create work schedules for crews;
  • Allow crews to complete work and attach photos and other relevant documents;
  • Create and provide various inspection forms with custom checklists and fields on a mobile device; and
  • Provide an intuitive mobile friendly interface usable by municipal operations staff.

Proponents should also consider how their technology could be integrated with other existing enterprise systems. The District prefers cloud-hosted solutions that provide a robust and well documented API allowing for District software developers to build and maintain custom integrations.

Vendors having a software system that will meet the District's needs and objectives are invited to submit a Proposal.
