As part of the District of North Vancouver’s (“District’s”) Facilities asset management plan, existing facilities are assessed to identify and prioritize HVAC systems that are in need of optimization through the addition of digital direct controls with the goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

The District invites detailed Submissions from qualified contracting firms (“Bidders”) for the provision of Reliable Digital Direct Controls (“DDC”) Building Automation System (BAS) as required to accomplish the sequences of control for heating, ventilating, air-conditioning and other building-level equipment and systems as described herein.

The purpose of this RFSO is to select a Bidder, or multiple Bidders, to provide contracted preventative maintenance work to maintain the existing DDC systems and an as-and-when offer to provide the installation of new systems, replacement of existing systems, modifications of existing systems, technical support, training, ongoing maintenance and servicing on-call, as-required.
